Enrolment paperwork doesn't have to feel like fine print. Here's a friendly, plain-English summary of how terms, fees and policies work at The Lit Adventure — no legal jargon required.
This page summarises the main points for your convenience. The full Enrolment Agreement & Terms of Service is provided when you enrol, and that document remains the official reference. If anything here is unclear, just ask — we're happy to talk it through before you sign anything.
Enrolment runs on a 12-week term basis, four terms a year. Once you sign up, your enrolment covers the full term — lessons can't be paused partway through.
Invoices go out monthly. Pay the full term upfront for a small discount, or spread the cost over interest-free monthly instalments. A late fee applies if payment isn't made by the due date.
A one-month deposit is collected at enrolment. To withdraw, we just need one month's written notice — your deposit is then applied towards your child's final month of lessons.
Fees aren't refunded for missed classes, but we offer a limited number of complimentary replacement lessons each term, subject to availability.
Our centre is closed on public holidays. There's no charge for these dates, and no replacement lesson needed.
We ask children to be respectful in class. For online lessons, we ask that your child be present on camera, in a quiet space, with materials ready to go.
Your personal data is handled in line with Singapore's PDPA, and used only for running lessons, billing and communications. You can opt in or out of photos or videos being used for marketing at any time.
We're not liable for matters outside our reasonable control, and we don't guarantee specific academic results — every child's journey looks different. Terms may be updated from time to time, always with prior notice to parents.
We're happy to walk you through anything on this page — no pressure, just a conversation.
