Preschoolers grow through three gentle steps. Primary schoolers work through The TLA Prism™. Young writers of any age can dive into The Literary Architect™.
The TLA Way is our preschool pathway, built on logic-based, multisensory phonics rather than memorising letter shapes and word patterns. It unfolds in three age-by-age programmes, each one small and focused, designed so your child never moves on before a skill is truly theirs.
The very first step: connecting sounds, letters and movement through play. Each letter comes with its own story and its own physical movement, so children learn to hear and shape sounds long before they're expected to read a single word.
Children build a strong "ear" for language: blending, segmenting and playing with sounds until they can hear how words are built. Every new sound is introduced through a real storybook, then practised in a mini reading booklet your child gets to keep.
Sounds become confident reading and writing, moving on to vowel teams, blends, and even prefixes and suffixes. Your child leaves this stage able to decode unfamiliar words independently, genuinely ready for Primary 1 rather than just rehearsed.
All three programmes are delivered through our shared framework of four Growth Zones. Read more on Our Method.

MOE-aligned English that goes beyond the score.
Every lesson takes one real-world theme and refracts it into every English skill your child needs: speaking, comprehension, grammar and writing. It's fully MOE-aligned, but it doesn't stop at the syllabus. It builds critical thinking and real confidence too.
Every term's theme is refracted into four beams, each one a different way of thinking, researching, and writing about the same idea.
Research, expository and informational writing, analysing information and supporting opinions with evidence.
Journalism, interviews and communication, asking purposeful questions and turning spoken ideas into writing.
Creative and descriptive composition: crafting characters, settings and figurative language, MOE-ready.
Expressive and functional writing: personal voice, opinions and real-world texts. More below ↓
Underneath every beam: structured discussion, grammar taught with purpose, and a weekly reflection log.

Writing well isn't about having a "good imagination." It's a skill you can be taught, step by step. The Literary Architect is our signature Expressive & Functional Writing curriculum, built to turn nervous writers into confident ones.
Strong writers grow through many kinds of writing, not composition alone. This component builds critical thinking, clear communication, and confidence.
Depending on the type of writing, students may work through steps like:
Real voice, not a formula.
Most students struggle with composition because they lack ideas and confidence, not vocabulary. Students learn to:
We focus on the thinking behind the writing, not just the final piece, through discussion, reflection, and purposeful writing tasks. This builds skills that carry over into reading comprehension, oral communication, and lifelong learning.
Themed, immersive holiday workshops. Past themes include The Gruffalo's Child, I'm Unique, and Adventure with Kobe (our resident therapy-dog-inspired programme). Ask us about our next workshop.
We bring The Literary Architect straight into your own space, so there's no need to travel to us. A popular fit for schools, enrichment centres and student care centres looking to add quality creative writing to their existing programme.
We also run professional development workshops for teachers, bringing our Creative Writing Through Arts approach (expressive writing integrated with therapeutic art activities) into your own classroom practice.
Every programme at The Lit Adventure is available in-person, fully online, or hybrid, at the same fees. Your child never has to miss a lesson because of location or scheduling.
Your child joins their class group live via video call. Same lesson, same friends, same Ms Eileen. Camera on, in a quiet space, materials ready.
Your child joins live online while classmates are physically in the classroom, seeing and taking part in real time, without having to catch up later or miss out.
Slots are limited to 6 students per class. Reach out today and let's find the right fit for your child.
Let us help you understand your child's literacy level. No obligation, just a conversation.
